I’ve been doing oil pulling for a while and now it’s an extra morning ritual.
I started testing it myself and I really noticed a difference: healthier gums, better skin condition (face), whiter teeth…

WHAT IS OIL PULLING?

Natural way to detoxify the body.

Comes from Ayurvedic medicine.

Daily oral care.

ADVANTAGES:

Less plaque.

Whiter teeth.

Fresh breath.

Detoxification of body and healing of meridians in the tongue.

Rejuvenates the skin.

The cold-pressed oil naturally attracts bacteria and toxins.

Oil also binds dirt and waste to itself, thus removing bacteria from the body.

Activate the metabolism.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Take 1 tablespoon of organic coconut oil.

Rinse your mouth with the oil for 20 minutes (you can do this immediately after getting up and in the shower!)

Do not swallow.

As the minutes pass, the oil is mixed with saliva and the oil becomes thinner.

When the time is up, spit out the oil so you don’t swallow it.

TIPS TO GET STARTED:

The morning is the best time, immediately after getting up on an empty stomach and before brushing.

After rinsing, wait half an hour before eating. Before doing oil pulling, you can use a tongue scraper (see other blog).

Take the oil in your mouth, for example when you take a shower.

When you suffer from the muscles in your face, you put too much force, this is not the intention.

It takes some getting used to, so if it doesn’t work at first and you accidentally swallow the oil, don’t worry.

If the color of the oil is white when spitting, you have rinsed long enough.

Then rinse your mouth thoroughly with lukewarm water, possibly with a little Himalayan salt.

Tilt your head back occasionally to reach the back of your mouth.

Spit out the oil in a bag or on a paper towel that you throw away.

Doing this daily for a certain period of time would be most effective, but a few times a week also gives positive results.
